Teacher Jota Business Dictionary

 My name is João  Batista de Holanda. I work as an English teacher for about 16 years. During my  exciting career I had the opportunity to meet and teach many unforgetable people of differente ages and objectives. I taught at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Days Saints for 6 years. I gave lessons at the A.M.C.T. Association  for 4 years. I also worked for WIZARD LANGUAGE INSTITUTE for 3 years. Nowadays I work for Estação da JUVENTUDE , a wonderful project  placed in Cidade Tiradentes , São Paulo,Brazil. I decided to develop this glossary of business terms to help my students. They are my breath . They are the reason of my sleepless nights. I know that only by studying at Estação da Juventude   , they won't be able to face the challenges life has prepared for them . I am pretty sure  that it's almost impossible to learn fluent English without extra tools such as this blog.
 This glossary of business terms and definitions includes the main terminology used in business, plus many more unusual, interesting and amusing words and expressions found in business and management, and the wider world of work and modern life.
The definitions are designed to be quick, easy and enjoyable to read. It's not meant to be an encyclopedia.

Some of these terms can have different meanings in situations outside of business and management, and some can even have different meanings in different areas of business. Generally this glossary lists the most common uses and meanings.
If you hear or read a term which does not make sense according to the definition in this dictionary, check elsewhere or ask the person what he/she meant. In Portuguese , as well as in English,  People do not always use terminology correctly, which means it's very important to seek clarification when you hear a strange term. Seeking clarification can be helpful for others too who might not be so bold as to ask.
